Welcome to the S. J. Bean Clock Dial Restoration web site. My name is Simon Bean, I have been supplying customers with good quality fully serviced clocks, along with restoring / repairing clocks and clock dials for over 30 years, and offer full satisfaction with my clocks and the quality of my work. Clocks and antiques have been my passion from an early age, I hope to be able to deliver a good quality service, along with supplying good quality antique clocks and antiques at competitive and reasonable prices. I was taught my trade by my mentor in the 1990’s so I have over 30 years of experience in restoring longcase / Grandfather clock, and wall clock fusee dials etc. All Grandfather clock dials are repainted using only paint, not ink. Please take the time to have a look at my Painted dial "Worlds" of which I am very proud, they are all hand painted and not transfers.

Please take the time to browse through the examples of the work carried out. All the Grandfather Clock dials are sympathetically restored back to the original condition. Even painted dials that might be considered "too far gone" can be fully restored. We also undertake cleaning and servicing on most Antique clocks, including Long case / Grandfather Clock movements. Our movements are not simply "dunked" into a cleaning solution, they are all stripped and the parts are individually inspected and cleaned by hand, serviced and repaired, and then re assembled and tested.
